Accessibility

Our commitment

Grouw is used by a wide range of people at a wide range of businesses, and it should work well regardless of how someone reads a screen, navigates without a mouse or touch precision, or perceives colour. We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across the app and this website, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a box to tick once.

We have not yet completed an independent, third-party accessibility audit. What follows describes what is actually built today, not a certified conformance claim.

What's built in today

• Full light and dark themes, and every colour pairing used for text and interactive elements is chosen to meet standard contrast ratios.
• Semantic structure and labelling — headings, landmarks, and ARIA labels — so screen readers can navigate the app and website in a sensible order.
• Keyboard and switch-control support on the website: every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus state and a skip-to-content link.
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences — animations and scroll effects are disabled automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Text that respects your device's system font size setting rather than a fixed size.

Known gaps

We do not yet have a completed, independent accessibility audit of the mobile app, and some newer screens have not had a dedicated accessibility review. Where you hit friction, we would genuinely like to know — see below.

Tell us where this falls short

If something in the app or on this site is difficult to use with assistive technology, we want to fix it. Reach us through the Help section in the app, and let us know what device, screen reader, or assistive technology you were using — that context makes the difference between us reproducing an issue and guessing at it.
