Grouw
Business terms
The terms governing use of Grouw to run a rewards program as a business.
Last updated 27 August 2026
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to any account used to create or manage a business's rewards program on Grouw — owners, and any supervisor or agent given access to help run it. Using Grouw as a customer to earn or redeem points is governed by our customer Terms instead.
Running your program
You control how customers earn points at your business — per visit, per service, or after a spending threshold — and what rewards they can redeem. You're responsible for honoring what you publish: once a customer has earned a reward under your program's rules, Grouw expects you to fulfil it.
You're responsible for the promotional content you publish (offers, descriptions, images). It must not be misleading, offensive, discriminatory, political, or otherwise inappropriate for the communities you serve. Grouw does not automatically screen content before it goes live — other customers can report content that looks wrong, and a violation can lead to content being removed, restricted, or your business account being suspended.
Your program is entirely your own — points, rules, and rewards are never shared or pooled with any other business on Grouw.
Staff access
You can grant supervisor or agent access to staff so they can help run the counter without full access to your account. You're responsible for the actions taken under access you've granted, and for revoking it when someone stops working with you.
Billing and subscription
New business accounts start with a free trial before any subscription charge applies. Billing is processed by a third-party payment provider, and Grouw does not store your card details directly.
Subscription pricing is region-specific and shown in your local currency — you can choose a monthly, quarterly, or yearly billing cycle, and the exact price for your region and cycle is always shown in the app before you're charged. The app is the authoritative source for current pricing, not this page.
Once your first payment is processed, your billing currency is fixed for your account — this avoids the amount you're charged shifting with exchange rates. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
Customer data you can see
As a business, you can see a customer's display name and their points activity with your business specifically. You cannot see their phone number, their activity with other businesses, or any of their account or security information.
You may only use customer information visible to you through Grouw to operate your rewards program — not for unrelated marketing, and not shared outside Grouw without the customer's consent.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or disable a business account for violating these terms, publishing content that breaches our content standards, or engaging in activity that puts customers or the platform at risk.
You can close your business account at any time. Closing it disables your program; it does not retroactively remove points already awarded to customers under your program before closure.
Legal and government requests
If we receive a valid request from a court, law enforcement agency, or government authority, we may be required to share content or account details related to your business — limited to what the request actually covers, and handled in line with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction.
This is a standard part of running any platform, not a reflection of how we see your business day to day. Grouw is built to be a business tool you use to grow and delight your customers — a legal request is the exception, not how we operate.
Fees, refunds, and liability
Specific fee, refund, and liability terms — including limitation of liability and indemnification language appropriate to a paid business subscription — are pending legal review for the markets Grouw operates in. This placeholder will be replaced with reviewed terms before this page is treated as final.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever these terms change, and for material changes affecting billing or your program, we'll notify you in the app before they take effect.
